Who we are
MCR Window Specialists is a window cleaning business covering Manchester and the Wirral. We're responsible for the personal details you give us. If you have any questions about this notice, email mcrwindowspecialists@gmail.com or call 07395 530265.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote, we collect your name, phone number, address and postcode, details about your property, how often you'd like a clean, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you message or call us, we'll also have your phone number and messages.
Why we use it
- To look at your property and give you a quote.
- To arrange, carry out and invoice your cleans if you go ahead.
- To contact you about your cleans, for example to let you know if we need to move a visit because of the weather.
We use your details because you've asked us for a quote or a service, which the law allows (it's needed to take steps at your request before and during a contract with you). We'll never sell your details, and we won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to.
Who else sees it
We only share your details with services that help us run the business:
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which delivers the quote form to our email inbox.
- Google, which provides our email and the map link we use to look at your property.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us that way.
Some of these services may store data outside the UK, with safeguards in place under data protection law.
How long we keep it
If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as you use our service, then for up to 6 years for our tax and accounting records. If you ask for a quote but don't go ahead, we delete your details within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or to stop using them. Just email or call us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
